A man outside arrivals offered "official taxi, this way" and led us to a plain sedan. £110 to Paddington — the black cab fare is £50–70. He had no badge and no meter. Only use the licensed black cab line.

At Oxford Circus in rush hour, someone bumped me hard as the doors closed. My wallet was gone by the next stop. The bump-and-grab on the Tube is a team job — one blocks, one takes. Keep valuables in a zipped inner pocket.

A street seller near Westminster Bridge offered "fast track" London Eye tickets at £45 each. The barcodes wouldn't scan and the seller was gone. The official same-day walk-up was £42 — there was no line. Buy at the official ticket office only.
