Taxi from Patong to Phuket Town, driver wanted 800 baht with no meter because "tourist price". A Grab for the same trip was 240 baht. He got aggressive when we walked away. Use the apps and never agree to a flat tourist fare.

A bar on Bangla Road padded our bill with three rounds of drinks we never ordered. When we asked for the itemized bill, the "manager" appeared and the price didn't move. Pay per round and never run a tab in Patong.
